Ebony Stain.
The cool thing about Ebony stain is that you can control the opaqueness. The more coats you put, the darker it gets – all without actually painting the wood.
This chair was refinished in ebony stain with a high gloss clear lacquer. As with all furniture, we refinished it before we reupholstered it in this cool Houndstooth fabric.
Natural Stain.
Natural wood is beautiful (most anyway!). We love to keep the natural color or stain it just enough to bring out it’s beauty. This chair was stripped to it’s bare wood, slightly stained and finished in a semi-gloss lacquer to bring out the exquisite rosewood grain.
After that, we reupholstered the chair in top-grade black leather, and turned this chair into an amazing
mid-century chair.
Toned Stain.
We refinished this chair in a subtle red-brown stain to give it a cherry wood tone. The details on this chair are intricate and the stain brought out the crevices beautifully.
We reupholstered the chair seat in a complimenting fabric with natural nail heads. The end result? An uber chic baroque style dining chair.
Pickled Stain.
Pickling wood is a process that makes new wood look antique & aged. This faux finish drastically changes the look of your furniture.
We refinished this sofa frame in a greyish-white pickled stain, to match the Italian silk fabric that we reupholstered the sofa in.
